The purpose of the registration in the National Registry of Securities Market Professionals - RNPMV - is to raise and control the standards of the natural persons who are obliged to register in the registry, as well as to facilitate and expedite the provision of information to the market about them.

Registration in the RNPMV is a condition to act in the stock market, as well as in the market of agricultural, agro-industrial or other commodities goods and products.

Responsibility for the use and veracity of published information

Pursuant to paragraph 3 of article 7 of Law 964 of 2005 in harmony with the provisions of paragraph 1 of article 5.1.1.1.3 of Decree 2555 of 2010, the veracity of the information contained in the SIMEV, as well as the effects produced as a consequence of its disclosure shall be the exclusive responsibility of those who provide it to the system.
